Sixth FormCourses
7
Sixth Form students at Redborne can follow one or two year
courses. There is a wide range of AS Levels (one year
courses) and A Levels (two year courses). General studies is
optional in the Sixth Form programme.
The normal examination for entry to university and/or higher
education colleges are A Levels or equivalent vocational
courses.
The standard is well above GCSE and commitment and hard
work are required to ensure success. Although some
subjects go together naturally, a great variety of
combinations is possible. You will be given a lot of advice
and help in choosing your subjects, but you need to take into
account the requirements of higher education and careers at
18. You must always take subjects that interest you.
