POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS OF SUBJECTS
An enormous number of combinations of subjects are
possible. It is envisaged that students will select a number of
subjects in Year 12 although they may not continue with all of
the courses through to Year 13. They may also pick up extra
AS qualifications in Year 13.
In addition all students will be expected to take part in the
enrichment programme and they can also follow a general
studies A Level course.
GCSE MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH
Any student who wishes to improve their GCSE grade in
mathematics or English may take a one year course in the
Sixth Form. It is a requirement that any student without an A*
to C grade in these subjects will complete the course. A
grade C in both mathematics and English is often a
requirement for employment and continuing on to higher
education.
