There are over 400 students in the Sixth Form at
Redborne. We offer over 30 different courses at A Level or
equivalent and many subjects run with two or more classes
giving flexibility of choice in terms of the subject
combinations that are possible.
Exam Results
Redborne’s exam results are excellent and have beaten
independent and selective grammar schools in the
Government’s league tables. Our pass rate at A Level is
typically over 98% with almost half of all grades awarded at
grades A or B. Both figures are well above both national
and county averages and represent considerable added
value on GCSE results. Our vocational results are equally
impressive, enabling many students to access higher
education via this route.
Higher Education
About 80% of the Sixth Form continue their studies at
university. Redborne students are to be found in most of
the universities and colleges in the country. Much time and
expertise is devoted to giving up-to-date and relevant
advice on courses and entry to Higher Education.
