Students in the Sixth Form at Redborne are encouraged to
manage their own time and will have a number of non-
contact periods (or 'private study' lessons) on their timetable.
In these sessions students may complete homework tasks
and dependent on subject choice, may chose to work within
faculty areas on coursework or portfolio assignments.
A range of facilities are available to assist with work during
private study lessons - a fully equipped library with access to
texts, computers and work areas, a common room with a
computer room attached and a large private study area in
the Connolly Hall just for Sixth Form use. A number of
subject areas have dedicated work areas for students to use.
All of these facilities are spread across the school site so a
student is never far from somewhere to sit and work.
